Ok – I’m starting over with an intro. I’m taking this course because I work as a high school librarian/media specialist.
Formerly, I was a public library director. I enjoy the change and I enjoy learning new things. This is my first time writing a blog, but not my first time blogging, (so to speak). It’s not hard but it does take time. I’m looking forward to learning with everyone as this course continues.

Hi -
I am your next door neighbor at Durfee High School. As stated in my blog, I am enjoying my time as a librarian on Elsbree Street. Your program sounds very interesting. Have a great day!

Are any of the teachers at your school using blogs with their students yet? I’ve seen some great examples of how blogs can be used in the classroom and I’m always curious as to how educators outside the library world are using them.

I found this picture on this website under presentation. There’s quite a variety. I hope to try out a few different things over the next few weeks.

As of now, teachers aren’t blogging directly but everyone uses MOODLE.
