This is the last class for Semls Learning 2.0. I highly recommend it to my colleagues. I have learned a great deal from our facilitator and from my classmates. I appreciate all the very informative sites I’ve been guided to and those that have been guided to me via my RSS feed. I would say that the most useful tools I have learned about are blogs, wikis, setting up feeds, and using tags for bookmarking. I intend to keep it going.
At the very least, I hope to set up a blog for my school library. I’ve seen very outstanding examples of libraries using social networking software. Anyone who looks at them – be it librarians or school administrators – would be impressed. And once you learn how to use the software, it’s a really time saver. Thanks Semls!
